Excel Delete Cells
Delete Cells
By picking a cell and clicking the delete button, you can remove it.
Note: Only the value within the cell will be erased by the delete function; the cell’s formatting will remain intact.
Let’s examine three instances.

Keep in mind that the formatting (the color) is left in place; just the value within the cells is removed.
